Face recognition softwares can be classified as the ones that perform recognition from recorded visual materials such as videos and photographs, and the ones that do real-time face recognition by comparing a person’s face to a set of visuals kept in the dataset. PYUZ SnapFace is a face recognition software that does the letter.
The primary pitfall of real time face recognition softwares is their fallibility against moving image and photographs. Some softwares confuse recorded visuals for live human faces leading the system tobe easilt misled. PYUZ SnapFace is immüne to such attempts thanks to its liveness detection feature which allows the software differantiate between a real human face and a recorded visual.
PYUZ SnapFace can run inquiries in a dataset that contains 26 million pieces of data and return the result in less than a second. PYUZ SnapFace catches all the faces in a certain frame, and depending on the hardware in use, returns the match results in one second per visual.
When integrated to the central data system, PYUZ SnapFace can be used in identifying incoming and outgoing persons at airports and borders. This allows illegal entries and identity and passport fraud can be prevented. The local dataset, on the other hand, can be used to build a watchlist of convicted criminals and suspects who are banned from travelling abroad, and attempts to leave the country to evade justice could be averted.
